Rana is a photographer and journalist. She is from Antakya in the southernmost Turkish province of Hatay.
Ray is a graphic designer. He is from County Tyrone in the northernmost Irish province of Ulster.
They met in London several years before the end of the last century and moved to Ankara shortly after the beginning of this one.
